Hiroko is an artist using Hasselblad medium format film camera with over 20 years of experience in creating unique, limited-edition art for people from all over the world to enjoy and purchase.
Life and death, beauty and decay, youth and decline. They all appear in opposition to one another but are different sides of the same coin.
“Life” is given at the moment of birth but lacks a soul.
Time and living create the soul and new spirit.
Only through living, a new beauty is born.
Tick-tock tick tock… the wonderful sound of new life leads inevitably to its grave conclusion.
Tick-tock tick tock with the sound of the heart beating, the heart of life, emotions, feelings and memories: gives birth to another life.
In one way, everything is “dead” when at the moment of creation.
When things are born, nature gives rise to a new beauty.
As time goes by and things start to “age”, that “beauty” slowly fades away.
From one point of view, fading is sad but it has gained a new kind of “beauty”
A beauty that only things that have been alive can earn.
New things do not have the profound and complex inner spirit that comes with age.
New things may be beautiful but they lack the deep overlay of emotions and experience of life.
Only through time spent, does the inner spirit become rounded and truly alive.
Spirit is the source of the beauty in every existing thing in nature.
Spirit is love itself for everything we do in this world.
When we see that patina of love in all things in nature, our spirit is moved and we find their “beauty” within.
